Previous owners have moved away. Indoor Cam reset.

I am on the board of a Home Owners Association and we have 2 Nest indoor cams and 1 outdoor cam to monitor the entryways and the parking lot. The previous owner who set up the cams moved away and is not able to provide any information. I need to reset all the cams and connect them to my Google Home account.

The previous owner should remove the cameras from their Google Account in the Google Home app. Then you'll need to do a factory reset on each camera. Then you can try re-installing them in the Google Home app.

We've never had to do this, but some customers are unable to reinstall their cameras if the first step cannot be performed.

Hi everyone,

@412LibertyHOA, thanks for posting here in the Community. How's it going with your Nest Camera? Were you able to contact the previous owner and have them remove the Nest Cameras from their account? Hit this link to properly reset them to the factory default.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson
