My outdoor camera stopped working. I used a cable to link it to the computer. Red circle around camera started blinking. I cannot get access to the device. I used other power sources but without success. Any recommendations to get this fixed?

If the light is blinking red, it's not getting sufficient power.
Are you using the original power cable and adapter that came with the camera? It doesn't have any signs of wear or damage? You said you've tried it in multiple power outlets that otherwise work fine?

It stopped working. Nothing visibly had happened to the cable. I tried another cable (not the original one, but which does work for other devices) to link the device with my computer and the red light started flashing. Further to your message, I went outside and tried the original cable again. The red light did not flash but the camera did not show on the Nest App either.

It sounds more of an issue with the original cable you have installed than the camera as it lights up when you connect it to your computer. Do you have another cable you can use to connect it to a power outlet? They're available on the Google Store if not:

I swapped the outdoor cameras and the one that was not working now works. It looks like it is a cable problem indeed. I will order a new cable.

It seems to be out of stock. When will it be available?

Thx for your help identifying the issue. I will order a cable when it will be available. Regards
