Potentially serious security / privacy breach.
I have a Google security camera with a Nest subscription that means I can teach it to recognise unfamiliar people and report when it has seen them. I have only taught it to recognise me, my wife, my two daughters, my father and the cleaner by name. Yesterday, as my wife and I were moving some things in the garage Google home reported seeing 'Robin'. I have never taught it that name and don't know anyone called Robin. This data can only have come from another users account which is a massive security / privacy concern. I am considering taking all 3 cameras that I have down and asking Google for a full refund.
Can someone at Google or Nest provide an explanation for how this could have happened?

If you go to your face library, are those names listed then?
Open the Google Home app, tap Settings > Nest Aware > Familiar face detection.

Hi David,
Thanks for the reply. And Yes, someone called Robin is listed in the Familiar Face Detection in Google home. I don't recognise him though.

Dan

Is it possible someone else added them? All home members in the app have access to the familiar face library, and can categorize faces your camera detects.
