Switch Wi-Fi, reset the doorbell, but it's not ringing the indoor chimes

I switched my internet providers and I was able to reset my Google nest video doorbell. However after I finished resetting it I noticed that ring the chimes was grayed out because it's registering as battery powered, it has always been wired and I clicked the wired options so I don't know how to fix this.

I'm assuming, when you reinstalled your battery doorbell (if that's what you have), you selected "Wire terminals" during the install process.

Is your doorbell wired and receiving power from your doorbell transformer?

Yes and Yes

That's odd, then. The "Indoor chime" seems to be grayed out and disabled when there is no indoor doorbell chime.

I suppose you could try another factory reset, or since you've already done a factory reset, maybe you'll need to contact Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
