Talk through nest cameras no longer works on iOS 26.
I have multiple cameras. Nest IQ indoor and out door. Nest cam indoor and nest hello. Settings for Microphone is enabled in nest app and within the phone settings.
Feature stopped working after installing iOS 26 on phone. My wife’s phone running iOS 18 can still talk through cameras.
google please update nest app to be compatable with iOS 26
Google home app also does not work for talking through camera.

Hi all, I've shared this with the Google Nest community team to make them aware of the issue.

Hello,
Is anyone else having mic issues after updating to IOS26? On my doorbell and cameras, you can’t talk through the cameras anymore ever since I updated. I did some troubleshooting, etc. was wondering if anyone else seen this issue.

Updating to Google home app version 4.0.54, released on 9/28/25 did not fix the issue in the Google home app.

Talk function in the Talk & Listen is no longer working on iOS 26 in both the Google Home and Nest app.
Updating to Google home app version 4.0.55 released on 10/1/25 did not fix the issue.

I opened a case with google/nest support. they seemed to not know this was an issue for all/most on ios26. I encourage you all to do the same so they know this is a widespread issue that needs to be addressed. you can contact support directly from your nest app by hitting the hamburger menu on the upper left and then support.
