The hex key hole on my Nest Cam IQ Outdoor is stripped. How can I get the entry key from the camera?

I've looked for other ways to connect it without the entry key or qr code, but haven't found a way. I've been using the hex key but it won't catch. I'm only guessing that the people who installed it stripped it while installing it.

A screw extractor would be best, but you probably won't be able to find one that fits up in the hole:-( You could carefully epoxy the very tip of a hex key into the hole and wait a day for it to cure. You'll have some cleanup to do but it should allow you to get the camera off the bracket.

Make sure that you have room to turn the epoxyed key 360 degress without taking it out!

I suggest JB Weld as an exceptionally strong epoxy.
