Hi @Neil,

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear you are encountering difficulties setting up your Nest Camera Indoor and then displays an error message. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before. I'm happy to help!

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

  • What is the model of Nest camera?
    • Is it 1Gen or 2Gen?
    • Is it battery or wired?
  • When did the inconvenience start?
  • How far is the camera from the router?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera?

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

  • Check the LED status light: This can often indicate the inconvenience. To check what these lights look like, refer to Nest camera lights and sounds.
  • Check your Wi-Fi connection: Ensure your Nest camera is within range of your router and that the Wi-Fi signal is strong.
  • Factory Reset: Since you performed a factory reset. Ensure you are performing the correct process. Press the reset button until hear a second countdown tone. Follow these steps to Factory Reset your Nest Camera indoor.
  • Try on another device: Attempt to set up your Nest Camera using a different phone or tablet.

Keep me posted.

Best regards,

Melany
