When I began setting up the wired doorbell, I tried scanning and reading the code and key, but it was black on black. My iPhone camera couldn't read the code, and I could partially see the key numbers with high magnification. Tried wiping a wet finger across the key and it disappeared completely. Call the help line and they couldn't help. What next?

Based on similar issues from other users, you need the entry key or QR code otherwise you cannot set up. This information is also usually found on a sticker attached to the original box so check that too.
