Total waste of money!!

The Google nest cameras and doorbell are a total waste of money and time.  It doesn't record every event especially the ones I set up in my zone.  Bought from best buy, too late to return since it's outside of my return window.  Google should be sued for false advertisement!

I agree. I bought under the pretense of false advertising, thinking the Google doorbell would record 3hrs however only the battery version does at the moment. Also screenshot is useless. I bought 5 months ago based on their advertising that the product no longer required a subscription and would have 3 hrs recording, this is not the case. Also outside my return window and they will not exchange despite the wired version costing more. Their current advertising is severely  misleading to customers that the battery and wired versions are similar and the same product. I would never have bought the product if I didn't think the hype around the nest release didn't include both versions. This information is critical and safety hazard for Google customers as I installed for my elderly mother and was shocked when I couldn't see the video when a solicitor came to the door.
