Hi folks! Wondering if I can wire my new Nest doorbell to the transformer and skip connecting it to my house's old chime altogether. I prefer to use the chime via google speakers instead. Thx!

One of our Google Nest Hello doorbells has been connected to an OhmKat Power Adapter with no chime or chime connector for a year and works fine. On this post, another user reports the same with the Nest Hello doorbell. We have the "Indoor chime" option turned off.
And on this post, a Google Nest Community Specialist says the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell will work without a chime:
It's unclear whether you need the chime puck if you don't have a chime; Google Nest won't say so definitively, but it seems you don't need the chime puck in this case:
