Trying to merge nest into google home

Ive had a neat account for four years. 3 cameras and three thermostats. I just bought what i understood to be a neat wireless camera from google. When i try to add it to my neat account by scanning the code it tells me i have to add to a google home account. I downloaded that and added the camera successfully. When i check the drop down menu for merging other nest products neat isnt offers at all as an option- which is frigging confusing as google owns nest. When i go back to my neat account it gives no options to merge to google home. Meanwhile a day after successfully adding the nest camera to google home im getting emails from neat asking if i want to turn on camera history and other services related to the new camera that neat didnt recognize when i tried to add it to nest. Talk about making something complicated and fruatrating. Isnt there an easy way to simply either add the camera to nest or to merge neat into google home??? I dont want to have to run two apps. Im a day away from packing up the new camera and sending it back. Frigging painful.

You have to add each device at a time. Tap the + icon.

Oops. I mean you have to add each device one at a time. Tap the + icon.

Surprisingly only one suggested solution which is wrong. All the forums I've searched indicate what I've found. That Google has made a mess of integrating Nest and is confusing every ser with an overly complex migration from Nest to Google Home. Why should there be dozens and dozens of youtube videos trying to show people how to do this? Why are there countless tutorials etc? IF Google owns Nest how could it possibly make it so FRIGGING complicated ? Why issue a new "Nest" wireless camera that doesn't integrate with Nest  and instead requires a user to open a Google Home account, set up a new hose, a new room and add the product there instead of simply adding and using within Nest???? Yet, all the other Nest products still work within Nest? Why no option in Nest to migrate to Google? Why no Nest equipment listed in the hundreds  of smart home devices that are compatible with Google Home? TOTAL BULL**bleep**. I've returned the cameras and will switch the overly complicated and frustrating Nest system I own into something simpler, cheaper and easier to use. Christ what a pain in the ass- as always with any changes to my Nest system.
