I have a newly built house that was wired for two doorbells (front and back doors). I installed two Nest Wired Doorbells and wired them to one transformer and one chime. The chime is set up for a front and a back door. I wired according to a diagram that I found while googling online, but I have had problems getting the front door bell to chime. The Nest unit at the front door has power and the camera is working, but when someone presses the doorbell the chime does not ring.
I found a suggestion online that recommended using two transformers, one for each doorbell. This still did not produce a chime from the front door.
Back door doorbell is working fine, chime rings each time.
Wondering if anyone else has recommendations on options to try? I assumed that the Nest doorbell would work easily with a front and back door setup.

This may not help your situation, but it can't hurt to try. We have 2 Nest Hellos, wired as shown in the diagram. One of them wouldn't ring the chime. Then we saw a post in this forum suggesting we go into Settings for the doorbell, select "Chime duration", and try turning the switch for electronic chime on and off. That worked for us. Others have tried toggling it on and off a few times and played with the chime duration setting.
