Two new Nest cameras say, "Motion detected at your front door".

How do I get my new Nest Cam battery cameras to announce motion on the proper device?  I also have a Nest doorbell, wired 2nd gen.  When the camera detects motion, it correctly says "Motion detected at your front door."  One nest cam is named Driveway and is in the "room" driveway.  When there is motion on the driveway, my Pixel phone says, "Motion detected at your front door".  One nest cam is named Back Yard and it's in the "room" back yard.  When it detects motion, it also announces on my Pixel phone "Motion detected at your front door".  The notification sent to my phone is correct.... Person seen Backyard camera or person seen Driveway camera.  I'd really like the spoken announcement to be correct.  I have deleted the cameras and readded them with no chance in behavior.   Appreciate any advice folks have on this.

That seems quite odd. How are you getting these spoken announcements on your Pixel phone, by the way? I only get spoken announcements for our cameras on my Powerbeats Pro EarPods when I'm using them (and the announcements for our one battery camera are correct).  (We have iPhones.)

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the Google Home app on your Pixel phone, just to see if that fixes it?

Lol, didn't do anything to get these announcements on my phone. They just started when i purchased a doorbell.  This is a new house, with a new Google "home"  and a new Google doorbell.  I had similar audio responses at my last home, just no Google camera to make things confusing.     There's another pixel 7 in my home and they get the announcements too.  It's pretty common for both phones to go off, in quick succession and in stereo, first when a person is seen in the driveway and then again as they approach the door.    I have tried (re) setting up a new home, with the same result.  Somehow i think Google enabled this with the doorbell, and in Google home, the doorbell is just another camera.  So any cameras i add, i start getting this same audio response.  I just enabled a new "backyard" camera and i get responses from it as well.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I understand how frustrating it can be if you're not getting those announcements on your Pixel phone.

Since this is related to Pixel phones, you can visit our Pixel phone support center directly for further assistance.
