Hello. I have an existing Google mesh network that my phone, iPad, etc connect to. I use Google Home for several smart devices with no issue. A Wyze camera is on the network.
I just bought two Google Nest, wired, indoor, 2nd gen cameras. I’ve gone into Google Home, clicked the “+” icon, and it tries searching for new devices with no luck. A screen pops up asking what kind of device and I choose camera, wired/indoor/2nd gen. It asks for setup code, which I enter. It searches some more and times out.
The camera is on (blue light flashes). The mesh network tests fine, all three devices online.
Any thoughts what’s happening?

Hi Dana1,
Thanks for visiting the Community. I’m sorry to hear that and for the delayed response. We appreciate your efforts. Let’s sort this out — a few questions: how far are your Nest Cameras (wired) from the WiFi access point and the main access point? Do you have an Android or iPhone? Do you have another phone to set up the cameras? Also, what WiFi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
Give these steps a try:
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
JT
