Unable to record an event length longer than 30 seconds

I have 4 Nest Cam (outdoor or indoor, battery)  cameras (connected to power) that I can not get to record an event longer that 30 seconds despite having changed the maximum event length settings and having done a factory reset. Everything else seems to be working as expected, I just can't get the event length to change to something other than the default.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you for the response Brad.  I believe the issue has been resolved.  Eventually things started working correctly.  Might have just taken longer than expected for the settings to take effect.
