Video history

I talked to Google home today about the history of videos 4 hours on the phone, started a new subscription with one of my cameras and was told it's my wifi when I use my phone data. I would never buy anything from Google again!!! I have nest aware 1st generation and it works fine. What's up with Google home? I have 3 battery. 1 indoor, and the floodlight camera and all of them are doing the same thing.

The history you get and how you access it depends on which Nest Aware subscription you have and which cameras or doorbells you have:

I took one of the cameras off and put it on my husband's phone and still can't get the history.

If you removed your camera from your Google Account in the Google Home app and installed it on your husband's Google Account, you won't get any history unless he has a Nest Aware subscription on his account.

You can check your Nest Aware subscription here:

https://store.google.com/subscriptions

You can also check it by going to Settings | Nest Aware in the Google Home app.

You can also go to your camera in the Google Home app and go to Settings | Video | Video history and see which option is selected.

Yes, my indoor camera is offline and won't come back on. Google nest cameras are junk.

It's a little unclear--based on just a couple of posts--just what is happening in your situation. You could try contacting Support to walk through what's happening:

I have spent days on the phone trying to figure this out and I'm just sick to death of it.

I'm sorry you've gone through that. But Support may still be your best bet. It's kind of hard for us customers to offer suggestions when we don't know your situation.
