Videos missing on the app

I set up my new nest indoor wired camera yesterday and saw several videos in the app.   Now this morning all those videos are gone (not showing up in the app) and during the night I received notification notification of 3 videos,  So I went and open the app and there was no video history at all.   I understand that with this camera I get 3 hours of video without a subscription.  I tested the camera by walking by it this morning and it worked and this mornings test video is showing on the app but not any videos from yesterday/last night.  Why can't I see yesterday's videos?

If if recall, the three hours means three hours real time - meaning wall clock time.  Not three hours of recorded video.    As such, only the last three wall clock hours is in history at any given time.

I am having similar issues. I am not able to see past videos even with Nest Aware

Have you tried to Restart your device? Or Factory Reset it?

No. All I did was update the Nest Aware. I couldn’t find any Google info to retrieve my stuff via the cloud if that’s where it’s gone?

Have you migrated your account from Nest to Google Home yet? If you are still in the Nest app, I would check out the web app for Nest. You can find it here. Please let me know if that works or not for you!

same problem for me Brad, can’t see past Videos . I  have Nest Aware Subscription. 
Restart what Devise, I Pad or I Phone. 🤷‍♀️

We apologize if this thread was closed sooner than you would have liked. As Community Specialists, we occasionally do a bit of housekeeping to keep the conversations in our community fresh and relevant. This includes locking threads after a period of inactivity.

 

Without the Nest Aware subscription, you only have access to 3 hours of event video history, which means that after the Google Nest Camera captures an event, it will be deleted after 3 hours. Check out this link to learn more about the Nest Aware subscription.
