I replaced a defective Gen 1 Nest doorbell with a new Gen 2 yesterday. I immediately noticed that the Gen 2 had a definite vertical bias in the viewing angle, vs. a horizontal bias in the Gen 1. I've poked around the archives and cannot find a way to change the viewing angle. I would prefer a more horizontal bias. Any suggestions / magic keystrokes to change the bias/field of view, short of mounting the doorbell horizontally? TIA!

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. They changed the aspect ratio (width vs, height) 0f 4:3 for the 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell to a taller aspect ratio of 3:4 for the 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell. And there is no Zoom and Enhance feature on the 2nd gen doorbell. And if you mount your doorbell horizontally, you cannot rotate the image 90 degrees.

OK, I'll just live with it. Thank you for the fast answer.

I think the rationale was it had a better chance at seeing a package sitting on the ground.
