When will Google fix the Nest Cam "device offline" bug?

July 2, 2023 some of my Nest Cams were showing "Device offline," so I restarted the cameras, restarted my modem and router, all to no avail.  One of the cameras that's offline is 10 feet from the modem & router.  Now I'm reading everywhere that this is a bug.  Is it going to be addressed anytime soon?

I have the same issue with my Nest Doorbell. Very annoying...

/edit:

I've added a lot more information in a different thread on this forum: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Nest-Doorbell-Connection-Has-Become-Uns...

Hello everyone,

@All, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To make sure that we’re on the same page, I’d like to confirm, how many smart devices are connected to your Wi-Fi network? What is the light status of your Nest Camera? We would recommend you to perform a factory reset and monitor its behavior. Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Emerson

Hey there,

I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest Camera? We would appreciate it if you could share the information I’m asking above. Also, were you able to perform the steps I’m suggesting? We'd be glad to hear from you.

Thanks,

Emerson

Hi,

I've added to the other thread (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Nest-Doorbell-Connection-Has-Become-Uns...) that everything started working again suddenly about a week ago. It's been working without problem since.

Nothing changed on my setup around that time. I also checked the Doorbell firmware which is still the same. Add to this the fact it was reported by many users... It must have been something on the Nest back-end.

I'm happy it's working again now, but I wish Nest had a reliable server-status page or something (https://status.nest.com/history didn't show anything), even after acknowledging to some news-outlets there were, in fact, some problems.
