I just want to trigger a routine when a camera or third party sensor detects motion, like turn the lights on in a room.
I want this ability on the Google app, or to be able to use ifttt again.
Not being able to do this is incredibly restrictive, and makes the smart home less smart

I am also looking for this functionality.

Is this feature in development now or still being considered for development ? Not having this is very restrictive ,
Amazon has gone ahead and added Zigbee support to its show devices to eliminate the need for third party hubs to support sensors while we are still waiting for basic sensor triggered routines.

Feature Requests are submitted for feedback, but I cannot say if this feature will for sure become an option or not. We still appreciate all of your feedback though!
Best regards,
Brad.
