Is this some kind of joke that google played on us? Google released supposed HD cameras which cannot be viewed in full HD but only tiny phone screens. What is this a camera for ants? My old Nest IQ cameras all work with the nest app on both my computer and phone. The new nest cam battery cameras don't work with the nest app on my computer and my phone. These new Google cameras are junk because it only works on a tiny phone. Anyone know of a workaround besides returning the cameras to the store?

Sadly, there is no workaround unless the third-party BlueStacks software will run on your computer (it won't run on ours), in which case you can then try running the Google Home app within BlueStacks.
Google Nest's Vice President posted this justification for their 2-app approach way back in Sept. 2021; there has been no update since: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Message-from-our-GM-Updates-for-our-Nest-customers/ba-p/.... We've been viewing our Google Nest Camera (Battery) in the Google Home app only for the last 10 months.

We have now been waiting 10+ months for this feature. And not even a hint that it is coming or in the works other than "Some new features coming in 2022".
