Will my Nest Cameras and Nest Aware acct. work when we move to Portugal?

We are moving to Portugal from California and would like to take our cameras and Nest Aware. I see in previous posts from 2021 it wasn't available there and I'd like to check if that's changed. We will have a vpn to access our US accounts online (if that makes a difference).

If Nest Aware isn't available, is it still possible to use the cameras somehow?

We don’t recommend using your Nest camera in a different country than where it was purchased.

• If you have a Nest Aware subscription, moving from one country to another can cause complications with billing and services.
• Nest cameras and doorbells are optimized to work best with specific Wi-Fi standards depending on where they were sold. This means that your device might experience decreased performance if you move it to a different country, it might not comply with regulations, and you won't receive support from Google.
