Will not connect to wifi

wray358

My Nest Hello has stopped connecting to my home wifi. I have tried restarting the doorbell, restarting my phone, and then resetting the doorbell. Nothing has worked. I am getting error code NC 23. I toggled my phone's bluetooth and that didn't help. No other devices are having issues connecting to wifi in my home.

@wray358

Did your Nest Hello doorbell suddenly go offline, or did something else happen? Were you still able to see your Nest Hello in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website or in the Google Home app or on the home.google.com website? How old is your Nest Hello?

I got an offline message and then started troubleshooting. The doorbell was still in my Nest app, but no stream was available. It’s about 5-6 years old.

I don't know if a factory reset will fix the problem or whether your doorbell has just failed entirely. Our oldest Nest Hello is getting close to 3 years old, and the internal battery has failed but otherwise is still working. Did you use the steps described in the link below?

I don't know why you're getting the NC023 Bluetooth error when trying to reinstall.

When the doorbell failed, I used Google and found the same instructions in the link you provided. I followed all of them and got the results I posted in my OP. I appreciate the help you are providing. All of the lights are still working on the doorbell; it just won’t connect to my Wi-Fi.

I got assistance through online chat and was able to get the issue mostly resolved. My inside door chime no longer works, but my Google assistant announces a visitor, so that works for me. Thanks for following up.
