Wired Nest Camera record

Nest doorbell camera has live video only. The playback screen is black with no record. Previously it wàs working fine. What corrective measures can be taken?

Perhaps you should consider contacting Support, where you can share some specific details, such as which doorbell you have and how old it is and which Nest Aware subscription you have. Your post says you have a "Nest Doorbell (wired Gen 2)", which is only installed in the Google Home app, but your post indicates the "Nest app (iOS)".  Any corrective measures would be different for the Google Home app vs. the Google Nest app and for different Nest Aware subscriptions.

To contact Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Select your device from the dropdown, click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
