As many others have posted i cannot view (on demand) or see the live doorbell feed when someone rings my doorbell.
When either action above occurs it goes through the motions like it will work, but then I get a gray screen with a camera icon with a line through it.
Streaming anything else to my TV, no issues, doorbell does display on my Google nest. Everything is updated to the latest software.
I've been searching and playing with this for over a year now.
I've tried calling Google numerous times. I was told
1) not a feature, but I will make a note to add it
2) it is because your account is migrated and needs to be un-migrated
3) doorbell team transfered me to TV steam team
4) they then said it's a TV manufacturer issue contact them.
I have 2 different Google TVs I've tried it on, same results. Both TVs are less than 2yrs old
Sony and Hisense
I have seen posts here where people WERE eventually successful.

Did they give you an answer? Have you found any solution? I have the same problem with TV TVL.

Hi Corvettejoez06,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
Streaming doorbell footage to different devices can be confusing, but let's break it down.
The key to streaming your cameras to your TV is to ensure it has either Chromecast built-in or a Chromecast dongle with Google TV. Google TV alone doesn't support live camera streaming.
Does your TV use Google TV or Chromecast built-in?
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Angel.

Thank you for trying to help! BUT....
I guess you missed my last sentence.... that is ALSO why google "goes through the motions" and "thinks" it worked but I get the famous gray screen with the camera icon with a line through it.
