I have a nest doorbell wired with no issues. I just installed a wired nest floodlight and it wont connect to finish the install. The help desk had me do a factory reset and did not work. She said when setting up the wired yes the wired floodlight it should be 6 feet from the router! Wtf? She had me order a special powercord for the floodlight so i could remove the camera and run it next to the router for setup. Now im waiting for the cord. My floodlight is 27 feet from my router with no interference between the router and floodlight. I need so dang help. My brother is an executive at Google abd even he is ticked off over it. Im hoping someone here can help me get this squared away so I can cancel my $35.00 order for a dang cable. It makes no sense!

Well, in my amateur experience, 27 feet for a Wi-Fi signal can be a challenge. We have just one camera that is almost 25 feet from the nearest wired Wi-Fi access point, and we have an enhanced directional antenna on that Wi-Fi access point to ensure good signal strength for that one camera. All of our other Google Nest devices are significantly closer to wired access points.
That being said, Google Nest does have various setup issues, including being unable to connect to an "assisting device" during the install process. I hope the power cable lets you install your floodlight camera successfully.

So i hooked up a power cable used to recharge a battery version and was able to connect by plugging it into the router. After that i relocated it outside and were good
