Can anyone post a Google’s recommended wiring diagram for a 2nd generation wired video doorbell when there is no existing chime or doorbell system? Thank you

If there's no existing chime or doorbell, you install it the same way you would with a chime, just without the chime essentially.
I don't think there's a wiring diagram specifically for this scenario, but others are included in the link below which may help you figure things out.

Does Google recommend you connect the 16-24VAC directly to the google video doorbell? Is the Google supplied chime puck utilized?

Yes, as long as your transformer is rated for 16-24 V AC, 10-40 VA to provide enough power to your doorbell. If you don't have a chime, you don't need to use the chime connector. Refer to the diagram for the "One doorbell, one transformer, and one chime connector" install but simply remove the chime from the diagram. The black and red wires from the transformer connect directly to the doorbell and don't connect to a chime.
There's a great video on the install process here:
Nest Doorbell (Wired) UK Installation With No Chime into uPVC Door Frame (Smart Video Doorbell) - Yo...
It's aimed at the 1st gen doorbell, but the same theory applies to the 2nd gen model.

Thank you for your comments.
I have seen videos with the Google doorbells wired two ways: 1) The 10-40VA transformer output of 16-24VAC wired directly to the Google doorbell as you have suggested. 2). The transformer output wired in series with the Google supplied chime puck that is wired to the Google doorbell.
The Google doorbell will work with with either wiring method. I have a strong preference to follow the manufacturer’s recommendation. I am disappointed Google’s recommendation is not easily found.

Other users in this forum have also asked Google Nest for a recommendation on how to wire the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell without a chime, but Google Nest has not responded on any of those posts.

Thank you for the context on this issue MplsCustomer.
Oh my Google Support, this doesn’t sound very good. It seems like a recommendation that would be easily, and quickly done. I would think you would have an interest in ensuring Google products are installed properly for a long problem free life. It will after all, help make future sales.
So here is my offer to the Google Support person who has the authority to, and issues a Google recommended wiring diagram. I will write a note to a significant other person in your life indicating you are of great value to the Google community, and I would recommend your boss gives you a raise. If nothing else you could laugh about it while you eat supper together.
Thanking you in advance, Victor.
To those Google Support Employees that have the authority to take action and don’t… you’re worthless.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for posting. I apologize for the inconvenience — let's get this sorted out.
While we don't have information on how to wire a Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) without connecting to an indoor chime, a Nest Pro may be able to help.
If you are in the US, you can contact our installation partner, OnTech, to help you set up the Nest doorbell.
For all other countries, you can book an appointment with a Nest Pro. More information here.
I appreciate the help, David_K and MplsCustomer.
Best,
Lance
