Yet another request to turn off notifications for familiar faces.

I am starting a new thread to request that the ability to turn off notifications for familiar faces be implemented. 

 

I've scoured every related thread I can find (there are many) and the community moderator responses have been downright embarrassing. 

 

This is clearly a known issue that needs addressing. It's not a crazy ask, it's literally the only reason you would want face detection in the first place. Why build technology that can learn our faces if all that you're going to do with it is add my name to the notification?

 

Leave this thread open until the feature is implemented please.
