set up a nest hello (wired) doorbell. transformer is 10 vac ( meter reads 14 vac). hooked up to a 3 terminal mechanical doorbell. hooked it up to my front doorbell which usually ring twice when front button is pushed. not that hello is hooked up the doorbell would ring but only once but that stopped the first night. anyone know what's wrong. everything else seems to work like i have my google speakers telling someone is at the door. camera is working. does the face recognition. just wondering why actual doorbell won't ring at all.

If your chime connectors are connected correctly to your chime, your transformer meets Nest's requirements (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9247132?hl=en), and your "Indoor chime" is turned on in the doorbell's settings, your indoor chime should work. There have been some posts in this forum where customers have turned "Indoor chime" off and back on and have turned "Chime duration" on and then back off in their doorbell settings to get their chime to work. Turning "Chime duration" on and then back off worked for us.
