doorbell failure

The doorbell cuts out every time after ringing the doorbell? I have read that more people suffer from this, but I have not found the reason and solution for this? Who knows this?

If the internal battery on the 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell has failed, the doorbell will go offline briefly (for about a minute) whenever the doorbell button is pressed IF the "Indoor chime" option is turned on, even if the doorbell is NOT connected to an indoor doorbell chime.  A workaround is to use the "Visitor announcements" option instead.
