When can we expect to see feature parity between the Home app and Nest App for Gen2 Cameras?

I second this request. for feature parity between apps.
The most annoying thing right now is I just received a new 2nd gen Nest Camera (indoor wired) to replace the one Dropcam HD I still had on my Nest Aware account, and since all the 2nd gen cameras can only be added to your account via the Google Home app... I am now stuck to where I have to use the Google Home app if I want to scrub through all the video history of the new 2nd gen camera and have to use the Nest app if I want to scrub through all the video history of the 1st gen cameras since that functionality is not there in the Google Home app for the 1st gen cameras (you can only view event history).
Also, my four 1st gen cameras show up in the Nest App and the Google Home App, but the one 2nd gen camera I now have only shows up in the Google Home App (along with the four 1st gen cameras).
You also have the same issues between using the web interfaces https://home.nest.com/home/ and https://home.google.com/home/ .
You cannot even configure the new 2nd gen cameras via https://home.google.com/home/, you have to use the Google Home app on a smartphone or tablet.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for posting the feedback here. Make sure you also submit your feedback through the Home app. Our teams do monitor those feedback submissions. I can also pass your comments along to our internal teams in the form of a feature request, and I'll do that right now. The Home app is still evolving and growing, and the goal is that it will become the single source for managing any smart devices in your home. While there isn't full feature parity now, it is something that's being worked on.
Aside from passing those feature requests on, is there any other way I can help out here?
Thanks,
Jeff
