The only thing that changes on Sept. 29 is that Google Nest quits supporting "Works with Nest", which allows smart home devices from other manufacturers to work with Google Nest devices:

Google Nest has been trying to get us to migrate for 3-4 years now.  My guess is that when Google Nest finally gets all of our old Google Nest devices moved over to the Google Home app, they will  eventually force customers to migrate.  But they are only just now getting ready to let customers test out moving their 1st gen indoor cameras in the "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Nest-Cam-Indoor-1st-gen-expanded-support-rolling-out-in-....  So it could still be awhile.

Hello folks,

@bolloks, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. How's it going? What MplsCustomer has shared is right on the spot. Were you able to read it?

@Chinawest, having a separate option for turning the volume of the Nest Doorbell is not available and we don't have any news to share about applying this feature to the Nest app or Google Home app.

I appreciate the response, MplsCustomer.

Best,

Emerson
