nest notification clips not playing

whenever i get a notification about, for example, my living room camera, i pull up the notification and the video just never loads. the spinner just spins and spins and spins. i can pull up the live feed with no issue, but i cannot for the life of me get the clips i get notifications about to load. it's to the point where i am starting to ignore the notifications which completely defeats the purpose of these "smart" cameras. i'm about to throw them all out and buy a different brand. is there anything i can do to resolve this on my end? the live feeds work perfectly like i said, but when it comes to videos related to notifications i can never watch them.

to add on: if someone had actually entered my apartment i would never know unless i was watching the live feed. this completely invalidates the reason for buying such a product. please advise

i love the new camera with the floodlight, but the google home software is a joke.  it has so many issues that nest did not.  all i want to know is google working on a fix?  i would hate to replace all my hardware due to terrible software.  PLEASE FIX IT!!!!

Yeah the software is terrible! I’m already looking at new cameras even though I shouldn’t have to spend the money
