wired chime transformer

I would like to get this wired 2nd gen nest doorbell but im not sure if my wired chime voltage works. I took my chime down and located transformer and it says 16v 30v. I know the nest doorbell requires 16 to 24v. Will mine work with this product or would I have to replace the transformer?

Yes, the 16v 30va is the right transformer. I had a 16v 10va transformer with two doorbells 2nd gen wired and it wasn't enough. Purchased the 16v 30va one on Amazon for about $25 and it solved a mechanical chime issue when the doorbell button was pressed.

Yes, I believe it should work fine. You will not hurt the new doorbell by giving it a try.
