The chromecast gets connected as it changes wallpaper and correct time also displays, but many times cast option doesn't appear on apps.
Sometimes it gets resolved automatically but sometimes it doesn't.
How can I solve this?

Check your wi-fi router settings and check "AP Isolation" is not enabled. 1st Gen Chromecast is 2.4GHz only, if AP Isolation is on and your phone is on 5GHz wi-fi, it won't see the Chromecast.
