Chromecast Google TV 4K voice remote draining batteries

I need a replacement for my Google Chromecast 4K with Google TV. I have to buy a new set of batteries (now every 10 days).

Already contacted support 10 days  ago (Inquiry: Case ID [6-5561000034617]) and this is what we did:

We did factory reset for:
 - The ChromeCast with Google TV 4K
- The Voice Remote
- Sent videos of the behavior of the remote when we did the factory reset.

Please acknowledge this issue (because I am not the only one) and provide the means for consumers to get a properly working remote. I truly expect for Google to the right thing, otherwise I'll fill a complain at FTC.

It seems that a replacement request has been processed. They sent you an email with the information you need about the return process. Kindly follow the instructions in that email. Not longer need any help, my ChromeCast just died, is not displaying any video. This is the worst purchase I've ever done, I am so disappointed. 😞

First the batteries were draining like crazy,  and just now Chromecast stopped working.

I’m sorry to hear about what happened. I’ve reviewed the case, and it seems that a replacement request has been processed. Did you have a chance to send back the faulty remote as advised? The replacement will be sent once the receipt of the faulty one has been confirmed. The same applies to the actual Chromecast device if proven to be faulty, as long as it’s within warranty. You mentioned that it stopped working; do you mean it does not power on anymore? Have you tried a different power source or cord? Kindly give us more details. We look forward to your response.

The Chromecast is working again, and I am keeping an eye on it for issues. As for the remote, I noticed today the attachments that I need to print in order to receive the replacement. Although I would not like to ship back the remote without getting the replacement first, there's no effective way to use GoogleTV without it.

I'll contact my local Fedex tomorrow (today is a holiday) and let you know.
