In the past day my chomecast has started cutting video out, only displaying a black screen, for seemingly random amounts of time at seemingly random intervals. This does NOT cut audio, so the device isn't disconnecting, and the issue occurs with any content or app I stream to the device - it even does this while on the idle splash screen!
I have tried rebooting, resetting, unplugging and replugging, the whole 9 yards, and I cannot get it to stop, nor can I find anything from anyone else saying they have a similar issue. Help? Please?

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. A few questions: what Chromecast device are you using? How long have you been using it? When did it start? Since you’ve already tried to troubleshoot the Chromecast device, let’s see if this has something to do with its communication with the TV.
