I've been using my old chromecast to cast from a new Samsung tablet to an old Sony TV. It worked for weeks but now an "unknown error" message, sometimes audio works, sometimes video, sometimes nothing, rarely it works. YouTube, and Pluto TV cast fine. Reinstalled Dish Anywhere app, rebooted Chromecast through Home. Wifi network is the same and strong. Any ideas? Should I upgrade my Chromecast?
Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. Could you please try to plug in the Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV? Resetting your Chromecast might also help.
Also, if the issue is isolated when using the Dish Anywhere app, please reach out to Dish support for further help.
