Chromecast remote and Seiki 55in tv (sc55au600) not pairing for control of tv

Hi, 

I picked up a Seiki 55 inch tv and plugged in my Chromecast HD, but the remote can't seem to pair or control the tv. 

I've tried Seiki as well as the sister brands like Westinghouse, White Westinghouse, Sharp, Hisense but none of them work. 

Is there a brand of tv from the list or a way to get the Chromecast remote to work to control the power, volume and source?

It would be impossible for Google to list absolutely every TV brand/manufacturer unfortunately. It sounds like you've already tried some trial and error by selecting the other manufacturer's listed. Another thing you could try is a Google search or see if they have forums to see if someone else may have found one that works for your brand of TV.

Thanks for coming back to us. Have you tried calling your TV manufacturer to check with them if your TV supports Chromecast devices? Also, could you provide us the specific model of your TV so we can double check it on our end?

Yes. It's an Android TV but no response from Manufacturer. The model number is sc55au600

Please do I've tried so many manufacturers. If there was a way to manually program a code or do something with the remote and the TV i'd love that.

Yes still need help. And yes Chromecast remote and device worked with another TV, a changhong

Still need a hand. This seiki tv doesn't pair with the Chromecast remote after trying so many different tv brands
