Greetings! I have been using this chromecast for at least a couple of years now, the only issue I ever have being that sometimes it de-syncs from my PC chrome browser causing me to disconnect and reconnect to switch web pages, etc. I never could find a fix for that... anyway, as of this morning (worked fine 11 hrs ago) I find that the chromecast is only casting audio and not video as well as not scrolling images as typical. I have tried casting youtube, twitch and alternate sites and all are audio only. I have powercycled (unplugged power for a minute+) without change. I do see the spinning circle, the word chromecast at the bottom and the 4 colored dots when doing this. Input is correct. i have also tried changing input HDMI slots, no change. The light on the device is solid white. Can anyone please assist!?
Edit: Tested chromecast on a second tv and it works perfectly, so what in the world could be happening?

Well I appreciate the attempt anyway, but i figured it out. One of the HDMI Hub's needing to be reset for some reason.

Actually, that first issue I mentioned, which is that when I broadcast from chrome on PC to the TV for say an episode of a show, and then I go to shrink (remove full screen) and change the site, a lot of the time the PC responds as expected but the chromecast does not, and it remains full screen and no longer responds to control. The only solution I have found so far is that I need to stop casting and start casting again to re-sync them. Is there a solution to that? This happens when casting a browser tab.

Hey there psychomagi,
That is a strange interaction. Just out of curiosity, does this issue only occur on one website in particular, or on any website with videos?
Thank you,
Jeran

Mostly the one I use a lot, but it has occurred with others, including twitch. Can't recall it happening on youtube though. And it isn't 100% of the time, more like 70%.

Hey there psychomagi,
I'm wondering if there is an issue with casting a tab from Chrome. If you have the chance, the next time you encounter this issue, would you be able to submit feedback via Google Home with logs enabled? That way, if there is an error that occurs, it would in the device's logs for the engineering department to see.
Thank you,
Jeran
