Chromecast tv screensaver

I can not get past the screensaver. My remote will scroll thru screensaver photos, adjust volume, but I can not get past it and see icons like Netflix etc. I can not cast from android phone.

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out. 

Quick questions: when did this start?  Is your device working previously? Please reboot your Chromecast with Google TV and try again. Resetting your Chromecast and Voice Remote might also help.
