Chromecast wifi

I changed wifi company and now i cant connect my chromecast doesnt connect to the new wifi.

I am having the same issue. The error message in Google Home simply says 'cannot connect with chromecast' with no guidelines for what to do next

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that connection issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know it can be difficult getting the Chromecast working when changing networks. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:
 

  • Have you already factory reset the Chromecast?
  • Have you tried forgetting the old network via the Google Home app?
  • Do you get any kind of error message when connecting the new network?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
