If I ask my Google Home to watch a video from Netflix, Disney+, or any other linked service the Chromecast won't play the episode/movie. The Chromecast will load the app and go to the correct series but it will sit there at the series screen and require me to press the play button on my remote to start. Using my old Chromecast the video would start playing immediately. This has been an issue since I bought the device in December.

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.
Have you tried to check if this is also happening when using the Google Assistant button on the Voice Remote? You could try to reboot your Chromecast and Google Home devices and test again.
