Disconnects, needs casting button twice

The casting button often needs pressing twice as it quickly disconnects or you only hear audio casting to twitch/youtube. I think it's a new bug introduced I've rebooted, factory reset and reset router and it's still the same.

That is a strange issue for sure, if you have the time, would you be able to submit feedback via Google TV to let the engineering team know about this interaction? That is the best way to let Google know about any bugs or issues.

Only a factory reset works but it's a temporary fix at best with 2 Google tv chromecasts exhibiting the same behavior.

I'm glad to hear that you've found a workaround for now! If you do get the chance, I'd encourage you to submit feedback with the link I've provided in a previous post to let the engineering department know about your findings. That is the best way to let Google know about any bugs or issues, aside from this forum, of course.
