- newest app version as of 15 Dec 2021 and newest Samsung A52 version as of same day.
My family got a new router 2 days ago and I tried to cast to my chromecast but it try's to connect to the old router (which isn't connected anymore) and I removed the chromecast thinking it might let me connect again but no luck, when I try to setup device I get this error (see image attached). if anyone know how to fix this problem let me know. Hard reset the Chromecast device and run the setup procedure.

Any time you change your wifi network for a chromecast, you will need to factory reset it
