Do not spray the remote with water, or use cleaning solutions or polishes, as doing so may damage it.

  1. First, remove the batteries from the remote.
  2. Lightly dampen a soft, clean cloth with water. A mild soap solution will remove oil or accumulated dirt build-up. Wring out any excess water from the cloth.
  3. Gently wipe all sides of the remote.
  4. If there's grime inside the buttons, you can use something like a toothpick to gently remove it.
  5. Dry the remote with a separate soft, clean towel or cloth.
  6. Once the remote is dry, put the batteries back in and you are good to go!

We’re going to need some more information than that to advise further. What do you mean by it didn't work? As in it still looks dirty or you're having an issue with the remote buttons as a result?

I mean it’s still dirty, but it works fine
