Is there a way to go back to android 10 instead of 12

CRF_Niklas

After I uppdate to android 12 my chromecast keeps crashing and I can't watch more then 5 to 10min of streaming before the video stops and I have to restart the stream. It all started after the uppdate. I have tried to make a reset on both TV and chromecast and tried many different settings on TV and chromecast. I have also tried all my different hdmi ports but the problem don't go away. Is there a way to go back to older version again?

You are not alone as mine is doing the same so it is almost useless now.

Hey there CRF_Niklas,

I'm really sorry to hear that you're running into these playback issues! I can imagine this has been pretty frustrating for you, so I'd be happy to look into it. Let me just ask, is this a specific app that you're running into issues with? If so, I would clear out the app's cached data to make sure there isn't any old data affecting it. It's a possibility that the app developer may need to update the app to function properly with Android 12 as well, so it may be worthwhile to reach out to the app developer to see if they are aware of any issues.

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran

Hi folks,

Thanks for the help here, Jeran.

CRF_Niklas and Nelsonite, we hope that helps but, if you're still having trouble, please reinstall the affected app. Also, if available, plug it in on a different TV screen.

Thanks,

Jennifer
