In Google Home routines it is possible to play media and choose the device to play on. However, this seems only to include Nest Speakers and Displays but not Google Chromecasts. Why is that and can this be fixed?
And a specific question: Is playing Google News (that can be edited in the Google Assistant Settings) even be played on Chromecasts? Mine doesn't seem to support that, it doesn't play Google News when saying "Play me the news". There is an option for manually casting Google News from my Nest Hub to the Chromecast but when I click on it on the Nest Hub, nothing happens and the cast does not succeed. Is there anything I can do about that?
