I plugged in chromecast, to make my not smart LG tv smart. I followed the directions to download Google Home and then gave the tv a room name Family Room TV. Entered my wi fi password. Then TV recognized the room name in top right corner. Message connecting came up on screen with colored balls. Then on my iphone, says Family Room not available, can't see family room tv on this wi-fi network. Check that it's online and that your phone or tablet is connected. My phone is connected to house wifi. Right now TV shows no signal. Both are on the same Wi-Fi signal

Try these steps:
If none of the steps above help, factory reset your Chromecast and then retry setup. You may also want to try setup using a different phone or tablet, just to test, if you have one.
