Stretched picture

Whenever I use Chromecast the picture on the television is “stretched”, like it has gone on to widescreen mode, and I can’t read the full text. This only happens when using Chromecast. How do I correct this please?

Quick questions: What type of Chromecast device do you have? When did the issue start? Is this also happening when Chromecast is in idle mode?

Please reboot your Chromecast device. Trying on a different HDMI port on your TV and on a different TV screen might also help. If the same issue persists, please reset your Chromecast.
